Ceramic Tile Molds - Geometry in Design

For your first Ceramics II project, you will create a ceramic tile mold and press 4 identical tiles from it.  These tiles will be put together to create an 8" x 8" continuous pattern.  Please see the presentation and project sheet below for details and criteria....

 

Low Relief Tile FInal Project

Here is your final challenge for Ceramics I…

Being an artist means understanding and conveying messages through visual work.  For this final project, you will be creating a low relief tile.  This project is a whole class project, but each of you will create a piece that becomes part of the larger whole.  When done, each low relief tile will be used to create a classroom mural.  The theme for our classroom mural is…Endangered Species!
